Straun Cameron has spent more than twenty years teaching high-consequence skills in Australian industry — working at heights, confined space entry, breathing apparatus, emergency response and rescue — as a qualified trainer and assessor. Diverse Routes brings that same standard of instruction to a wider set of skills: driving, growing, building and forging.
The ability to navigate hard country, grow food, build shelter and make tools is more than practical knowledge. These skills connect people to place and community — and to their own capacity to handle whatever comes.
We believe in learning by doing. Every course emphasises hands-on experience, guided by instructors who practice what they teach. Small group sizes keep the attention personal and the skill development real.
And because the founder is a safety trainer by trade, risk is managed properly — without wrapping learners in cotton wool. You'll do the real thing; it will be run right.
